Another Disgraceful Lords Day

It has been a long time since such drunkern McCarthy scenes as Saturday have taken place. Stolen wet floor cones, attempts to chat up Polish and Hungarian women and bizarely, a German man, slices of ham thrown about on a tube train before being placed down the heating duct, street urination - it all took place. Many readers may ask, Scott, why? And the finger of blame can be easily pointed at Michael Yardy and Sussex Sharks - had they of not been such a disgrace in Saturdays Friends Providents Trophy Final, then there would have been no need to drown sorrows and no need for the carnage that followed - mainly induced by a £12 rum punch purchase. However, despite the problems on the field, it was another fantastic day out, and hopefully just a taste to come for our Ashes experience in two weeks time

McCarthy will be jetting off on early his second holiday of the year in a few weeks time, as another couple of weeks will be spent in the excellent hospitality of the Collin family in France. Last time they ensured I ended up horrendously sunburnt and in a drunk stupour for the majority of the week, as well as experiencing what eating a chicken bone is like, so we can only hope for more of the same on this visit

Roadworks have been ongoing outside McCarthy Towers in recent days, with Tom McCarthy claiming responsibility for one of the situations following his constant complaints about potholes resulting in resurfacing of the Royal George-West Street-Sussex Way roundabout taking place. It is causing no end of issues for motorists, but I am pleased to report that Burgess Hills Favourite Minor Celebrity has taken one for the time by dishing out punishment via the eating of the entire Towers stock of Edam

And finally, for those who are friends with myself on Facebook and wish to see an unbelievably piece of footballing ability, check out the video entitled "McCarthy's Volley". It is the most stunning goal you will ever see in your life. End of.
